Canny and UserVoice both run customer feedback portals, but they’re bought by very different companies.
- Canny is a self-serve feedback platform priced on tracked users, from $79 a month, with AI that captures requests from calls and tickets.
- UserVoice now calls itself an “AI-powered enterprise customer intelligence platform”: feedback ranked by the revenue behind it, from your CRM, priced on admin seats from $1,000 a month and sold after a demo.
The short answer:
- Choose Canny if you want to start on your own, at a price that fits a startup or a mid-sized team.
- Choose UserVoice if you’re a large company that wants account revenue from your CRM on every request and a success team to help roll it out.
- Look at Feedovate if you want revenue behind requests without the enterprise price. We make it, so it’s covered last and briefly.
Every fact below comes from each tool’s own website, and every price was read off its pricing page on November 3, 2026.

What Canny is
Canny is a feedback portal with a public roadmap and changelog. Its Autopilot reads support conversations, sales calls and review sites, pulls out feature requests, merges duplicates and summarizes threads. Since mid-2026, Canny Ideas groups what it finds into internal ideas before you publish them.
What UserVoice is
UserVoice is one of the oldest feedback platforms, now aimed squarely at large companies. It ranks requests by the revenue behind them, pulled from your CRM, with breakdowns by segment, plan or account. Its AI agent answers plain-language questions about your feedback, groups themes and weights them by account revenue. Customers reach it through a portal and in-app feedback.
Pricing compared
Canny prices on tracked users: anyone who posts, votes or comments, plus people Autopilot logs. Free covers 25; Pro starts at $79 a month billed yearly ($99 monthly) for 100 and rises with your count, to about $529 at 1,000 (our Canny pricing breakdown); Business is priced on request.

Canny Pro includes up to 10 managers. At large scale the two meet, and the choice turns on what you need, not price.
