8 best Featurebase alternatives in 2026

Featurebase is now a support suite priced per seat. Eight alternatives for teams that only want product feedback, with real prices and trade-offs.

Feedovate team11 min read

Featurebase started as a feedback board and has grown into a support suite: a help desk, live chat, a help center and an AI agent that answers customers, priced per seat from $29 a month billed yearly. If all you need is a place to collect, prioritize and announce product feedback, you may be paying for a lot you don’t use.

If that’s why you’re looking, the short answer:

  • For product feedback only, at one flat price for your team: Feedovate.
  • For a long-established board with many integrations: Canny.
  • For many teammates on a small budget: UserJot.

We make Feedovate, so it’s first on this list, and it has its own trade-offs below. Every other tool is described from its own website, and every price was read off its pricing page on the date shown.

The alternatives at a glance

Tool Best for Priced on Starts at Main trade-off
Feedovate Feedback only, at a flat price Flat per plan $39/month No free plan, no in-app embed
Canny A long-established board Tracked users $79/month, yearly Cost grows with your customers
UserJot Unlimited team members on a small budget Flat per plan $29/month One integration on Starter
Frill Surveys next to a feedback board Flat per plan $25/month 50 ideas on the entry plan
Upvoty The lowest price with a custom domain Flat per plan $15/month No value and effort scoring listed
Nolt One simple, clean board Flat, by boards $29/month, yearly One board on Essential
FeatureOS A knowledge base beside your board Flat, by seats and boards $60/month Extra seats and boards cost more
Rapidr SSO and many admins below enterprise Flat, by team members $49/month Jira and segments at $199

Why teams look for a Featurebase alternative

The bill grows with every teammate. Featurebase charges per seat, billed yearly: Growth is $29 a seat, Professional $59. Bring product, engineering and support into the tool and it adds up:

Team seats Featurebase Growth Featurebase Professional Feedovate
3 $87/month $177/month $39/month, Starter
5 $145/month $295/month $79/month, Pro
10 $290/month $590/month $79/month, Pro

Featurebase prices billed yearly, from its pricing page; Professional also includes 20 lighter seats. Feedovate Pro includes up to 10 seats per workspace.

Usage is billed on top. Featurebase’s AI agent costs $0.49 per resolved conversation, and outbound messages, translations and extra AI copilot capacity are metered too. Removing Featurebase branding is a $69-a-month add-on, and SAML SSO is on Enterprise.

Much of the product is support. The help desk, live chat and help center are useful if you want them. If your support already runs elsewhere, a feedback-first tool is simpler to set up and to explain to your team.

What to look for in a Featurebase alternative

  • What the price scales on. Seats, boards, end users or a flat plan: work out your cost a year from now, not today.
  • Prioritization beyond votes. Can you score value and effort, and see the revenue of the customers asking?
  • Your issue tracker. If you work in Linear or Jira, check whether status syncs both ways.
  • Closing the loop. When something ships, does everyone who asked hear about it?
  • The plan you’d actually need. Custom domain, SSO and integrations often sit one or two plans up.
  • What you’d lose. If you use Featurebase’s help desk or help center, plan where they’ll go.

1. Feedovate

Feedovate is a customer feedback tool for SaaS teams. Customers post and vote on ideas in your portal, your team ranks requests by value, effort and the revenue of the customers asking, and a public roadmap and changelog close the loop. We build it, so weigh this entry with that in mind.

Best for: B2B SaaS teams that want to prioritize by revenue at a price that doesn’t follow their customers.

Standout features

  • Unlimited end users on every plan. You pay for your team’s seats.
  • Value and effort scores on every request, and on Pro the revenue and number of customers asking.
  • Two-way Linear and Jira sync on Pro: move the issue and the request follows.
  • A changelog that emails every customer who asked when their request ships.
  • Requests from Slack and a REST API, and an MCP server so AI agents such as Claude Code or Cursor can work with your feedback.
  • AI tagging, summaries and reply drafts on every plan, and duplicate detection that costs no credits.

Pricing: Starter is $39 a month (one workspace, 3 team seats, 1,000 AI credits). Pro is $79 a month (up to 3 workspaces with 10 seats each, 4,000 AI credits, revenue data, segments, Linear and Jira, custom domain). Two months free when you pay yearly. Your first workspace starts with 7 days of Pro, no card needed.

Trade-offs

  • No free plan.
  • Nothing to embed inside your app yet, and no live chat, surveys or bug reporting.
  • No one-click importer yet. We help you move by email.
  • A shorter integration list than older tools: Linear, Jira, Slack, an MCP server and a REST API.

Compared with Featurebase: feedback only, at a flat price for your team rather than per seat, with nothing metered on top. Featurebase is ahead if you want support, a free plan or something to embed in your app. Feedovate vs Featurebase in detail.

2. Canny

Canny is one of the best-known feedback boards, and now calls itself an “AI-powered customer feedback platform”. Its Autopilot pulls feature requests out of support conversations, sales calls and review sites, merges duplicates and files them for your team.

Best for: Teams with a modest user base that want a long-established board and AI that captures feedback for them.

Standout features

  • Autopilot captures feedback from support tickets, sales calls and review sites, merges duplicates and summarizes threads, with every action logged and reversible.
  • Canny Ideas, added in 2026, groups what Autopilot finds into internal ideas and insights before you publish anything.
  • A portal, roadmap and changelog on every plan.
  • One of the longest integration lists in the category, including Linear, Jira and Slack, and an MCP server.

Pricing: Free for 25 tracked users. Pro starts at $79 a month billed yearly ($99 monthly) for 100 tracked users and rises with your count. Business is priced on request. From Canny’s pricing page, checked November 3, 2026.

Trade-offs

  • The price follows tracked users, including people Autopilot logs. Pass your tier and you’re upgraded automatically, unless you set a spend limit.
  • CRM integrations and single sign-on are on Business, priced on request.
  • Ranking by revenue depends on those Business integrations.

Compared with Featurebase: feedback-focused, priced on tracked users instead of seats: cheaper for a big team with few active customers, pricier the other way round. Canny vs Featurebase.

3. UserJot

UserJot pairs feedback boards, a roadmap and a changelog with newer support features: live chat and Juno, an AI support agent, both in beta.

Best for: Teams that want unlimited team members at a low flat price.

Standout features

  • Boards, a roadmap that emails voters when a status changes, and a changelog linked to the requests it closes.
  • A free plan with unlimited end users and posts, 2 boards and 3 team members.
  • Importers for Canny and Nolt, plus CSV.
  • An MCP server for coding agents.
  • One script embeds chat, feedback, the roadmap and updates in your app.

Pricing: A free plan, then Starter at $29 and Professional at $59 a month, with 14 days free before the first charge. From UserJot’s pricing page, checked November 3, 2026.

Trade-offs

  • Ranking is votes plus trending and stale flags, with no scoring or revenue weighting.
  • One integration on Starter. Its pages name Slack, and don’t list Linear or Jira.
  • SSO and removing branding are on Professional.
  • Live chat and Juno are in beta, without a price yet.

Compared with Featurebase: a flat price with unlimited team members, and no help desk to pay for.

4. Frill

Frill is a flat-priced feedback tool with ideas, a roadmap, announcements and surveys, all of which can be embedded in your product.

Best for: Teams that want NPS and CSAT surveys next to their feedback board.

Standout features

  • A prioritization matrix that plots ideas on benefit and cost, using your own factors, on every plan.
  • Smart Merge for duplicates, and similar ideas suggested as people type.
  • A roadmap per topic that emails voters when an idea ships, plus announcements.
  • NPS, CSAT and poll surveys.
  • An AI inbox in early access that pulls requests out of Slack, Jira and Linear, and an MCP server.

Pricing: Startup is $25, Business $49, Growth $149 and Enterprise $349 a month, with a 14-day trial and no card. Paid plans include unlimited admins and end users. From Frill’s pricing page, checked November 3, 2026.

Trade-offs

  • Startup stops at 50 ideas and one survey of each type.
  • Private boards and white labeling need Growth at $149, or an add-on.
  • Revenue isn’t part of the ranking.
  • Its integrations page doesn’t say whether Jira and Linear sync both ways.

Compared with Featurebase: a flat price per plan instead of per seat, with surveys built in.

5. Upvoty

Upvoty is a low-cost feedback board with a roadmap and a changelog, and one of the few at its price with two-way Linear sync.

Best for: The lowest price with a custom domain and Linear sync.

Standout features

  • Public or private boards with tags, custom fields and moderation.
  • Merge AI finds duplicates by meaning and can merge them automatically, with undo.
  • A roadmap, and a changelog that notifies voters.
  • Two-way Linear status sync on every plan.
  • User single sign-on that can pass each customer’s plan and MRR, so you can filter feedback by them.

Pricing: Power is $15, Super $25 and Hyper $49 a month, with 10% off yearly and a 14-day trial, no card. From Upvoty’s pricing page, checked November 3, 2026.

Trade-offs

  • Ranking is votes and filters. No value and effort scoring is described.
  • The changelog and full integrations start on Super; SAML SSO and the API on Hyper.
  • One project on Power.

Compared with Featurebase: a much lower flat price for a feedback board, roadmap and changelog, without the support suite.

6. Nolt

Nolt is a clean, minimal feedback board with a roadmap and a changelog, priced by the number of boards.

Best for: Small teams that want one simple, clean board.

Standout features

  • Boards with custom fields, duplicate merging and moderation.
  • A Kanban view that turns feedback into tasks with assignees and deadlines.
  • A roadmap, and a changelog that can publish completed items automatically.
  • Single sign-on with your app’s login on every plan, and hosting in Europe or globally.
  • Unlimited users, posts and admins on every plan.

Pricing: Essential is $29 and Pro $69 a month billed yearly ($39 and $89 monthly), and Enterprise is custom. A 10-day trial of Pro, no card. From Nolt’s pricing page, checked November 3, 2026.

Trade-offs

  • One board on Essential, five on Pro, unlimited only on Enterprise.
  • Jira and Linear need Pro.
  • No scoring or revenue-based ranking is described.

Compared with Featurebase: a flat price by boards, for teams that want one simple board.

7. FeatureOS

FeatureOS, formerly Hellonext, is a feedback platform with boards, a roadmap, a changelog and a knowledge base, priced per plan with seats and boards included.

Best for: Teams that want a knowledge base beside their feedback board.

Standout features

  • Boards with downvotes, vote limits and priority ratings from users.
  • A roadmap built from your boards, and a changelog scheduled to the minute.
  • A knowledge base with Ask AI, plus AI duplicate suggestions and smart replies.
  • Two-way Linear sync, and one-way Jira.

Pricing: Starter is $60 (5 seats, 5 boards, 3 integrations), Growth $120 and Business $250 a month. Extra seats and boards are $15 a month each. A 14-day trial you can extend to 30, no card. From FeatureOS’s pricing page, checked November 3, 2026.

Trade-offs

  • Seats, boards and integrations are capped per plan, and add-ons cost extra.
  • SSO is an add-on on Starter.
  • Jira syncs one way.

Compared with Featurebase: a flat monthly price that includes seats and boards, with a knowledge base, and no per-seat bill.

8. Rapidr

Rapidr is a feedback portal with a roadmap and a changelog, priced by team members, with SAML SSO below an enterprise contract.

Best for: Teams that need SAML SSO or up to 50 admins below enterprise.

Standout features

  • Public and private boards, with private comments for the team.
  • Sorting by user group, account type and location.
  • JWT and SAML single sign-on, and a custom domain on every plan.
  • A portal in English, Spanish, German and French.

Pricing: Startup is $49 a month for 5 team members, Business $199 for 50 (with Jira, segmentation and SSO), and Enterprise is custom. A 14-day trial, no card. From Rapidr’s pricing page, checked November 3, 2026.

Trade-offs

  • Ranking is votes. RICE scoring and MRR filters are marked as not yet available.
  • No Linear, and Jira and segments start at $199.
  • No AI features are described, and its blog’s newest post is from December 2024.

Compared with Featurebase: a flat price tiered by team members, with up to 50 admins on Business.

When to stay with Featurebase

Featurebase is the right tool if you want a help desk, live chat and feedback in one place, an AI agent answering support conversations, or a help center next to your feedback board.

Moving from Featurebase

  1. Decide what stays. If you use Featurebase for support too, choose where conversations and help articles will live before you move feedback.
  2. Export what matters. Most teams move open requests with their votes and comments, and leave the archive.
  3. Map your statuses so your public roadmap reads the same on day one.
  4. Reconnect your tracker and check that status changes flow the way you expect.
  5. Tell your customers. Point the old board’s link to the new portal and post a short changelog note.

Questions, answered.

What is the best Featurebase alternative?

For product feedback only, at one flat price for your team, Feedovate. For a long-established board with a large integration list, Canny. For many teammates on a small budget, UserJot. For the lowest price, Upvoty.

Why look for a Featurebase alternative?

Featurebase prices per seat and meters its AI agent per resolution, and much of the product is now support, with a help desk, live chat and a help center. Teams that only collect and prioritize product feedback pay for parts they don't use.

Which Featurebase alternatives charge a flat price?

Feedovate, UserJot, Frill and Upvoty charge a flat price per plan. Nolt, FeatureOS and Rapidr are flat too, tiered by boards, seats or team members.

Does Feedovate have live chat or a help desk like Featurebase?

No. Feedovate is product feedback only, with a portal, prioritization, a roadmap and a changelog. If you want support and feedback in one tool, Featurebase is the better fit.
