Feedovate team11 min read
Frill is a friendly, flat-priced feedback board with a roadmap, announcements, surveys and a priority matrix on every plan. The limits show up as you grow: the $25 Startup plan stops at 50 ideas, and white labeling waits for Growth at $149 a month. Teams also move on when they want to rank requests by who is asking, not only by votes and effort.
If that’s why you’re looking, the short answer:
- To rank requests by revenue at a flat price: Feedovate.
- For unlimited teammates on a small budget: UserJot.
- For the lowest price: Upvoty or FeedBear.
We make Feedovate, so it’s first on this list, and it has its own trade-offs below. Every other tool is described from its own website, and every price was read off its pricing page on the date shown.
The alternatives at a glance
| Tool | Best for | Priced on | Starts at | Main trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Feedovate | Ranking requests by revenue, flat price | Flat per plan | $39/month | No surveys, no in-app embed |
| Canny | A long-established board | Tracked users | $79/month, yearly | Cost grows with your customers |
| UserJot | Unlimited team members on a small budget | Flat per plan | $29/month | One integration on Starter |
| Upvoty | The lowest price with a custom domain | Flat per plan | $15/month | No value and effort scoring listed |
| Nolt | One simple, clean board | Flat, by boards | $29/month, yearly | One board on Essential |
| Featurebase | Support and feedback in one suite | Per seat | $29/seat/month, yearly | Built around support |
| FeedBear | One admin, one board, lowest price | Flat, by team members | $15/month, yearly | One team member on Lite |
| Rapidr | SSO and many admins below enterprise | Flat, by team members | $49/month | Jira and segments at $199 |
Why teams look for a Frill alternative
The entry plan runs out. Frill’s plans, from its pricing page:
| Plan | Price | What changes |
|---|---|---|
| Startup | $25/month | 50 ideas, one survey of each type |
| Business | $49/month | Unlimited ideas |
| Growth | $149/month | Privacy controls, more surveys, white labeling |
| Enterprise | $349/month | SOC 2, audit logs |
A busy board passes 50 ideas quickly, so most teams end up on Business or above.
Votes and effort aren’t the whole picture. Frill’s priority matrix weighs ideas on every plan, but its comparison doesn’t list revenue or customer segments behind each request. B2B teams often want to see which accounts are asking.
Surveys you may not need. NPS, CSAT and in-app surveys are a real strength if you run them in Frill. If you already survey elsewhere, you’re paying for overlap.
What to look for in a Frill alternative
- Limits on the plan you’d use. Ideas, boards, admins and integrations.
- Prioritization. Value and effort, and the revenue of the customers asking.
- Your issue tracker. If you work in Linear or Jira, check whether status syncs both ways.
- Closing the loop. When something ships, does everyone who asked hear about it?
- What you’d lose. If you rely on Frill’s surveys or in-app embeds, plan where they’ll go.
1. Feedovate
Feedovate is a customer feedback tool for SaaS teams. Customers post and vote on ideas in your portal, your team ranks requests by value, effort and the revenue of the customers asking, and a public roadmap and changelog close the loop. We build it, so weigh this entry with that in mind.
Best for: B2B SaaS teams that want to prioritize by revenue at a price that doesn’t follow their customers.
Standout features
- Unlimited end users on every plan. You pay for your team’s seats.
- Value and effort scores on every request, and on Pro the revenue and number of customers asking.
- Two-way Linear and Jira sync on Pro: move the issue and the request follows.
- A changelog that emails every customer who asked when their request ships.
- Requests from Slack and a REST API, and an MCP server so AI agents such as Claude Code or Cursor can work with your feedback.
- AI tagging, summaries and reply drafts on every plan, and duplicate detection that costs no credits.
Pricing: Starter is $39 a month (one workspace, 3 team seats, 1,000 AI credits). Pro is $79 a month (up to 3 workspaces with 10 seats each, 4,000 AI credits, revenue data, segments, Linear and Jira, custom domain). Two months free when you pay yearly. Your first workspace starts with 7 days of Pro, no card needed.
Trade-offs
- No free plan.
- Nothing to embed inside your app yet, and no live chat, surveys or bug reporting.
- No one-click importer yet. We help you move by email.
- A shorter integration list than older tools: Linear, Jira, Slack, an MCP server and a REST API.
Compared with Frill: unlimited requests on every plan and revenue in the ranking. Frill is ahead on surveys and in-app embeds. Feedovate vs Frill in detail.
2. Canny
Canny is one of the best-known feedback boards, and now calls itself an “AI-powered customer feedback platform”. Its Autopilot pulls feature requests out of support conversations, sales calls and review sites, merges duplicates and files them for your team.
Best for: Teams with a modest user base that want a long-established board and AI that captures feedback for them.
Standout features
- Autopilot captures feedback from support tickets, sales calls and review sites, merges duplicates and summarizes threads, with every action logged and reversible.
- Canny Ideas, added in 2026, groups what Autopilot finds into internal ideas and insights before you publish anything.
- A portal, roadmap and changelog on every plan.
- One of the longest integration lists in the category, including Linear, Jira and Slack, and an MCP server.
Pricing: Free for 25 tracked users. Pro starts at $79 a month billed yearly ($99 monthly) for 100 tracked users and rises with your count. Business is priced on request. From Canny’s pricing page, checked November 3, 2026.
Trade-offs
- The price follows tracked users, including people Autopilot logs. Pass your tier and you’re upgraded automatically, unless you set a spend limit.
- CRM integrations and single sign-on are on Business, priced on request.
- Ranking by revenue depends on those Business integrations.
Compared with Frill: a longer integration list and AI capture, priced on tracked users instead of a flat plan.
3. UserJot
UserJot pairs feedback boards, a roadmap and a changelog with newer support features: live chat and Juno, an AI support agent, both in beta.

- An MCP server for coding agents.
- One script embeds chat, feedback, the roadmap and updates in your app.

- One integration on Starter. Its pages name Slack, and don’t list Linear or Jira.
- SSO and removing branding are on Professional.
- Live chat and Juno are in beta, without a price yet.
Compared with Frill: a flat price with unlimited team members and no cap on ideas.

5. Nolt

Standout features
- Feedback boards, a roadmap and a changelog, with requests sortable by revenue, impact, or value and effort.
- Feedback 2.0, released in September 2026, uses AI to group raw feedback into requests linked to insights.
- An AI agent that answers customers across channels, plus a help desk inbox and a help center.
- Surveys, product tours and in-app feedback collection.
- Linear and Jira links that bring status back, and Salesforce on Professional and up.
Pricing: A free plan for one seat and one board. Growth is $29, Professional $59 and Enterprise $99 per seat a month, billed yearly, with a 10-day trial and no card. On top: $0.49 per resolved AI conversation, and $69 a month to remove branding. From Featurebase’s pricing page and help center, checked November 3, 2026.
Trade-offs
- Per seat since December 2025, so the bill grows with your team.
- Usage is billed on top of seats: AI resolutions, outbound messages, translations and extra AI copilot capacity.
- SAML SSO and SCIM are Enterprise-only.
- Much of the product is support. A feedback-only team uses part of it.
Compared with Frill: a broader product with a help desk and live chat, priced per seat instead of a flat plan.

- Decide where surveys go, if you used Frill’s.
- Tell your customers. Point the old board’s link to the new portal and post a short changelog note.
