UserVoice is one of the oldest feedback platforms, built for large companies: ideas tied to accounts and revenue, analytics across feedback sources, and guided onboarding with a success manager. It now publishes its prices, and they start at $1,000 a month billed yearly for 20 admins, bought through a demo. For a startup or a mid-sized SaaS team, that’s often more platform, and more process, than the job needs.
If that’s why you’re looking, the short answer:
- For revenue behind each request at a flat price: Feedovate.
- For a long-established board you can buy on your own: Canny.
- For roadmaps across several product teams: Productboard or Aha!.
We make Feedovate, so it’s first on this list, and it has its own trade-offs below. Every other tool is described from its own website, and every price was read off its pricing page on the date shown.
The alternatives at a glance
| Tool | Best for | Priced on | Starts at | Main trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Feedovate | Revenue behind each request, flat price | Flat per plan | $39/month | No free plan, no in-app embed |
| Canny | A long-established board | Tracked users | $79/month, yearly | Cost grows with your customers |
| Productboard | Several PMs planning roadmaps | Per maker, 5 minimum | $295/month | Sold after a demo |
| Aha! Ideas | Ideas linked to strategy and roadmaps | Per internal user, 3 minimum | $39/user/month, yearly | Per user, three at least |
| Featurebase | Support and feedback in one suite | Per seat | $29/seat/month, yearly | Built around support |
| Frill | Surveys next to a feedback board | Flat per plan | $25/month | 50 ideas on the entry plan |
| UserJot | Many teammates on a small budget | Flat per plan | $29/month | One integration on Starter |
| Upvoty | The lowest price with a custom domain | Flat per plan | $15/month | No value and effort scoring listed |
Why teams look for a UserVoice alternative
The entry price. UserVoice prices on admin seats, instances and add-ons:
| Plan | Billed yearly | Billed monthly | Admins included |
|---|---|---|---|
| Launch | $1,000/month | $1,200/month | 20, then $40/month each |
| Business | $1,833/month | $2,200/month | 50, then $40/month each |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom |
From UserVoice’s pricing page, checked November 3, 2026. For comparison, Feedovate Pro is $79 a month for up to 10 team seats per workspace, with unlimited end users.
Every plan goes through a demo. There’s a 30-day trial, but buying starts with booking a call.
You may not need the enterprise layer. Account-level revenue from CRMs, analytics across sources and a success manager are UserVoice’s strengths. A team of a few PMs listening to a few thousand customers usually needs a portal, a way to rank requests and a changelog.
What to look for in a UserVoice alternative
- Revenue behind requests. If you chose UserVoice for account data, check how the alternative brings in revenue and customer details.
- What the price scales on, and whether you can start without a sales call.
- Your issue tracker. UserVoice lists Jira; if you work in Linear, check for it.
- Closing the loop. When something ships, does everyone who asked hear about it?
- Custom domain and SSO, and which plan they’re on.
- Moving your data. Check for an importer, or plan to start with your open ideas.
1. Feedovate
Feedovate is a customer feedback tool for SaaS teams. Customers post and vote on ideas in your portal, your team ranks requests by value, effort and the revenue of the customers asking, and a public roadmap and changelog close the loop. We build it, so weigh this entry with that in mind.
Best for: B2B SaaS teams that want to prioritize by revenue at a price that doesn’t follow their customers.
Standout features
- Unlimited end users on every plan. You pay for your team’s seats.
- Value and effort scores on every request, and on Pro the revenue and number of customers asking.
- Two-way Linear and Jira sync on Pro: move the issue and the request follows.
- A changelog that emails every customer who asked when their request ships.
- Requests from Slack and a REST API, and an MCP server so AI agents such as Claude Code or Cursor can work with your feedback.
- AI tagging, summaries and reply drafts on every plan, and duplicate detection that costs no credits.
Pricing: Starter is $39 a month (one workspace, 3 team seats, 1,000 AI credits). Pro is $79 a month (up to 3 workspaces with 10 seats each, 4,000 AI credits, revenue data, segments, Linear and Jira, custom domain). Two months free when you pay yearly. Your first workspace starts with 7 days of Pro, no card needed.
Trade-offs
- No free plan.
- Nothing to embed inside your app yet, and no live chat, surveys or bug reporting.
- No one-click importer yet. We help you move by email.
- A shorter integration list than older tools: Linear, Jira, Slack, an MCP server and a REST API.
Compared with UserVoice: revenue behind each request without the enterprise price or the sales process. UserVoice is ahead on CRM-linked account data and analytics across sources. Feedovate vs UserVoice in detail.
2. Canny
Canny is one of the best-known feedback boards, and now calls itself an “AI-powered customer feedback platform”. Its Autopilot pulls feature requests out of support conversations, sales calls and review sites, merges duplicates and files them for your team.
Best for: Teams with a modest user base that want a long-established board and AI that captures feedback for them.
Standout features
- Autopilot captures feedback from support tickets, sales calls and review sites, merges duplicates and summarizes threads, with every action logged and reversible.
- Canny Ideas, added in 2026, groups what Autopilot finds into internal ideas and insights before you publish anything.
- A portal, roadmap and changelog on every plan.
- One of the longest integration lists in the category, including Linear, Jira and Slack, and an MCP server.
Pricing: Free for 25 tracked users. Pro starts at $79 a month billed yearly ($99 monthly) for 100 tracked users and rises with your count. Business is priced on request. From Canny’s pricing page, checked November 3, 2026.
Trade-offs
- The price follows tracked users, including people Autopilot logs. Pass your tier and you’re upgraded automatically, unless you set a spend limit.
- CRM integrations and single sign-on are on Business, priced on request.
- Ranking by revenue depends on those Business integrations.
Compared with UserVoice: a published, self-serve price from $79 a month, against UserVoice’s $1,000. Canny vs UserVoice.
3. Productboard
Productboard is a product management suite for teams of product managers: customer insights, a hierarchy from goals down to features, roadmaps and specs, and Spark, an AI agent.
Best for: Product orgs with several PMs planning roadmaps across teams.
Standout features
- A customer insights repository where feedback links to feature ideas, with importance scores and segment views.
- Spark writes voice-of-customer reports with citations, and drafts specs and release notes.
- Roadmaps, strategy and specs in one place.
- Up to two customer portals on Business.
- More than 25 integrations, an API and an MCP server.
Pricing: Business is $59 per maker a month billed yearly ($75 monthly), with five makers minimum, so $295 a month at least. Enterprise is priced on request. Both are sold after a demo. From Productboard’s pricing page and help center, checked October 29, 2026.
Trade-offs
- No free plan or trial on the pricing page. Business starts with a demo request.
- AI runs on credits, 500 per maker a month. When they run out, Spark pauses until renewal or a top-up.
- Jira and Azure DevOps are capped at five connections on Business. Salesforce, SAML SSO and audit logs are Enterprise-only.
- Linear isn’t on the pricing page’s integration list.
Compared with UserVoice: a product management suite rather than a feedback platform, from $295 a month for five makers.
4. Aha! Ideas
Aha! Ideas is the idea management part of the Aha! suite: branded portals, scorecards and AI theme discovery, with ideas promoted into Aha! Roadmaps.
Best for: Teams linking customer ideas to strategy and roadmaps in one suite.
Standout features
- Branded ideas portals with unlimited portal users.
- Scorecards for need, strategy, effort and confidence.
- Salesforce links opportunities to ideas, and views show votes by segment.
- Elle, its AI assistant, finds themes, suggests merges and ranks themes by votes and revenue.
- Ideas promote straight into Aha! Roadmaps.
Pricing: Ideas Essentials is $39 and Ideas Advanced $59 per user a month billed yearly ($49 and $74 monthly), three users minimum. A 30-day trial of Advanced, no card. From Aha!’s pricing page, checked November 3, 2026.
Trade-offs
- Per user with a three-user minimum, and reviewer roles need paid seats.
- CRM and Jira integrations, proxy votes, AI analysis and branded domains are on Advanced.
- No changelog in Ideas, and Linear isn’t listed.
Compared with UserVoice: ideas tied into strategy and roadmaps, priced per internal user with portal users free.
5. Featurebase
Featurebase began as a feedback board and now leads with AI support: a help desk, live chat, a help center and an AI agent, with feedback boards, a roadmap and a changelog alongside.
Best for: Teams that want support and product feedback in one suite.
Standout features
- Feedback boards, a roadmap and a changelog, with requests sortable by revenue, impact, or value and effort.
- Feedback 2.0, released in September 2026, uses AI to group raw feedback into requests linked to insights.
- An AI agent that answers customers across channels, plus a help desk inbox and a help center.
- Surveys, product tours and in-app feedback collection.
- Linear and Jira links that bring status back, and Salesforce on Professional and up.
Pricing: A free plan for one seat and one board. Growth is $29, Professional $59 and Enterprise $99 per seat a month, billed yearly, with a 10-day trial and no card. On top: $0.49 per resolved AI conversation, and $69 a month to remove branding. From Featurebase’s pricing page and help center, checked November 3, 2026.
Trade-offs
- Per seat since December 2025, so the bill grows with your team.
- Usage is billed on top of seats: AI resolutions, outbound messages, translations and extra AI copilot capacity.
- SAML SSO and SCIM are Enterprise-only.
- Much of the product is support. A feedback-only team uses part of it.
Compared with UserVoice: self-serve and per seat, with a help desk built in.
6. Frill
Frill is a flat-priced feedback tool with ideas, a roadmap, announcements and surveys, all of which can be embedded in your product.
Best for: Teams that want NPS and CSAT surveys next to their feedback board.
Standout features
- A prioritization matrix that plots ideas on benefit and cost, using your own factors, on every plan.
- Smart Merge for duplicates, and similar ideas suggested as people type.
- A roadmap per topic that emails voters when an idea ships, plus announcements.
- NPS, CSAT and poll surveys.
- An AI inbox in early access that pulls requests out of Slack, Jira and Linear, and an MCP server.
Pricing: Startup is $25, Business $49, Growth $149 and Enterprise $349 a month, with a 14-day trial and no card. Paid plans include unlimited admins and end users. From Frill’s pricing page, checked November 3, 2026.
Trade-offs
- Startup stops at 50 ideas and one survey of each type.
- Private boards and white labeling need Growth at $149, or an add-on.
- Revenue isn’t part of the ranking.
- Its integrations page doesn’t say whether Jira and Linear sync both ways.
Compared with UserVoice: a simple flat-priced board for teams that don’t need the enterprise layer.
7. UserJot
UserJot pairs feedback boards, a roadmap and a changelog with newer support features: live chat and Juno, an AI support agent, both in beta.
Best for: Teams that want unlimited team members at a low flat price.

Pricing: A free plan, then Starter at $29 and Professional at $59 a month, with 14 days free before the first charge. From UserJot’s pricing page, checked November 3, 2026.
Trade-offs

- One integration on Starter. Its pages name Slack, and don’t list Linear or Jira.
- SSO and removing branding are on Professional.
- Live chat and Juno are in beta, without a price yet.
Compared with UserVoice: a flat price with unlimited team members, at a small fraction of the cost.
8. Upvoty
Upvoty is a low-cost feedback board with a roadmap and a changelog, and one of the few at its price with two-way Linear sync.
Best for: The lowest price with a custom domain and Linear sync.
Standout features

- Merge AI finds duplicates by meaning and can merge them automatically, with undo.
- A roadmap, and a changelog that notifies voters.

UserVoice is still the right choice for a large company that wants guided onboarding and a dedicated success manager, ideas tied to accounts and revenue through its CRM integrations, and voice-of-customer analytics across many feedback sources.
Moving from UserVoice
- Export what matters. Most teams move open ideas with their votes and the accounts behind them, and leave the archive.
- Bring revenue across. Decide how customer and revenue data will reach the new tool, by import, an SDK or an API.
- Map your statuses so your public roadmap reads the same on day one.
- Reconnect your tracker and tell your customers where the new portal lives.
